With the first days of summer comes the first days of cherry season. For a while now, we have been going about an hour north of Salt Lake to pick our own cherries.
I assure you, however, that I am not one of those. So I filled this one up too.
74 pounds of cherries, folks! I've always been confident in my ability to eat mass quantities of food, but I'm getting a little overwhelmed here. Cherry smoothies, cherry salads, cherries for breakfast, dinner, and desert. Oy!

Oh my! Sneak some through customs for me? Those look scrumptious!
ohm my god. cherries are so sexy. you should just put them in the bathtub and wallow in them like a cherry queen. or make cherry popsicles.
p
tempting suggestions, miss emily. how does one go about making cherry popsicles?
also, do explain "p" at the end.
puree them and then stick them in popsicle molds in the freezer! duh. i guess you could add some fruit juice or milk(or soy milk) or something to the puree to make it more interesting cherries and cream popsicle. or you could ship them to me and i'll handle it no prob.
you are funny. i don't have any popsicle molds, but i guess a regular cup would do. unless it cracks in the freezer?
